Are you longing for peace?

Just as there can be no personal peace with God without true, heartfelt repentance, there can be no peace nationally without repentance and returning to God as a nation. For years, America has been on a downward slide. It gets worse and worse. We have not only ignored and disobeyed God’s laws, but we are flaunting our disobedience and throwing it in His face. We can be sure He will not tolerate this. He doesn’t have to.

If I shut the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on my people, and my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Have you asked yourself what happens if we don’t humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face? What happened to Israel, His chosen people? He did not spare them. That is what will happen to us if we continue to harden our hearts toward Him, refusing to repent.
