1) Spread God’s word as revealed in the Bible and to
2) share His love with those in need.
We rely on Luke 4:18-19 for our purpose:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free,
and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
To this end, we share the gospel in the county detention center, area assisted livings, and a class offered at our home church for those who want to experience victory over the evil one in their daily lives.
We offer assistance to those with food and/or material needs and are making plans to open an after care home for female inmates who qualify for this specialized program, which will provide them a stable place to live while they work hard to succeed in life, by God’s wonderful grace.
