Good News

You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God!” See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.
Isaiah 40:9‭-‬11 NIV

Good news has been in short supply lately. The world as we have known it seems to have tilted on its axis. Even nonbelievers who may know nothing of biblical prophecy perceive that things are changing, and not necessarily in a good way.

The good news of the gospel stands firm, no matter what else may be happening in the world. It is something we may stand on when the world is shaking all around us.

What is this good news?

It is that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came into this world to save sinners. He willingly went to the cross, where He died a horrible death. He paid the debt for our sin, a debt He didn’t owe, because we owed a debt we couldn’t pay.

Repent of your sin, and turn to the Savior Who gave His all for you.

“I tell you the truth, everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, the Son of Man will also acknowledge in the presence of God’s angels. But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God’s angels.
Luke 12:8‭-‬9 NLT
