When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. What is sorcery?

Merriam-Webster.com defines it for us: the use of power gained from the assistance or control of evil spirits especially for divining 

Do you dabble in sorcery?

Did you notice that the word “sorcery” is right in the middle of all kinds of chaos?

Is your life full of chaos?

Relying on, or even tolerating, evil spirits for anything at all never ends well.

Think about it… Demons (evil spirits) had everything they could ever want in heaven, as angels of God. Satan talked them out of it, so now all they have to look forward to is eternity in hell. And they want to “assist or control” you right into hell too!

If you have somehow invited Satan and his demons into your life, and maybe now find that you can’t back away, Jesus will help you when you “repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38 NLT

Satan has had thousands of years to perfect his schemes. The only way we can outwit him is by the word of God. When we fill our minds with the Holy Spirit of God by His word, we can fight Satan and his demons and win. (See Luke 4:1-13)

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
