I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 NIV
Are you distressed at the decisions your leaders make?
Pray for them!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
It is so easy to become anxious as we look about us.
But anxiety and fear do not come from God.
We must choose to be on God’s side – and not just when we want Him to do something for us! Faithfulness should go both ways.

You are not faithful to God. Don’t you know that to be a friend of the world is to hate God? So anyone who chooses to be the world’s friend becomes God’s enemy.
James 4:4 NIRV
Pray for leaders to make decisions that honor Him. Find out what the Bible says about a subject; then pray God’s word over it.
… The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
James 5:16b NLT
