Jesus said if we are slapped on one cheek, to turn the other. Much easier said than done, granted, but He will give us strength to do it when we look to Him.

In this current political climate, our faith must be bigger than our political party. Yes, it is emotional when it seems we are watching our beloved America drowning, but God is not surprised, and He is not impotent.

Please, let’s do what we legally can, and leave the rest to God. On our knees is the position from which we need to be speaking.

Our country desperately needs to see Jesus in us.
