One God

Do you wonder if Almighty God of the Bible and Allah are the same god?

Do Muslims and Christians believe basically the same things about God? Well, let’s take a very short look at that.

Jesus said about Himself, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.
John 14:6 NCV

He also said in John 12:32-3 “If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people toward me.” Jesus said this to show how he would die.

Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet, but not the Son of God. And they do not believe He was crucified.

Almighty God made it very plain who Jesus was.

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love, and I am very pleased with him.” Matthew 3:17 NCV

And again…

While Peter was talking, a bright cloud covered them. A voice came from the cloud and said, “This is my Son, whom I love, and I am very pleased with him. Listen to him!” Matthew 17:5 NCV

God declared in these verses that Jesus was His Son, and had even greater standing than Moses and Elijah, revered Old Testament prophets! He was in a class by Himself.

And finally, Philippians 2:5‭-‬11 says this:

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

We can see that there is no way Christians and Muslims believe in the same god. Christians believe Jesus is God (one God, three persons. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. A loose metaphor would be water, ice, and steam. All H20, but different.)

Jesus is the Savior who paid the ultimate price for us, redeeming us with His blood when we put our trust in only Him for our salvation. Muslims believe it must be earned.

The alternative to trusting in a loving, saving God is eternity in hell for rejecting His beloved Son. Please consider very carefully what your decision will be.
