The same staff that, held over the water in obedience to God, parted the Red Sea!

The same staff that the power of God turned into a snake, and back again!

The very same staff that brought water from a rock when God willed it!

It didn’t matter that it was an inanimate object– a tool — for herding sheep. The same God that made a donkey speak (who, in fact, created the donkey!) caused the staff in Moses’ hand to become a conduit for God’s limitless power.

Has God been pointing something out to you that He wants you to do? Have you been making excuses? Could it be that God wants to show you what He wants to do with whatever that is in your hand?
