This morning as I listen to the birds chirping outside my window, and hear them hop-hopping on the roof, I am reminded that this is my Father’s world, and I thank Him for His precious creation.
I am also reminded that, what God meant for good, Satan wants to use for evil. He has hi-jacked God’s world that He created with such special care.
But Jesus defeated Satan at the cross and has raised up a mighty army of believers who would rather suffer isolation, deprivation, humiliation, persecution, and even death, than live without Him (Colossians 2:15).
One day the King of kings, and Lord of lords will return to reclaim that which is rightfully His (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Matthew 24:37-39).
At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).
Are you discouraged when you look around you at the sin and destruction and chaos in the world?
Lift up your head! Your redemption draws nigh!
